While I agree wrestling is aimed at the retard crowd, to call it "fake" is an injustice.

Sure they follow a script and try not to injure each other, but they are mostly stuntmen doing pretty dangerous stunts.

There's a reason so many die in their 20s and 30s or suffer with pain pill addiction their entire lives.

I haven't watched wrestling in years but our friends all got together and rented Wrestlemania last night and it was a crazy blast. It's just some fuging entertainment chill the fug out.

Vince McMahon was once quoted as saying that "they make movies" and they really do. Build characters, try to take the fans into their "world"

 

I don't follow it much anymore, but the business aspect of it intrigues me, it's a unique form of theatre.

 

Plus when you consider they sell out NBA arenas every Monday and pack 80000 people into the Superdome for a big event, it's big business. And their writers have to keep fans interested 52 weeks a year, it's not like a regular TV series where there's a break between seasons. These guys never stop

Haven't watched or gone to events since Mankind retired in 2000. (sockO!!) That said....it is a soap opera for men w/ flying chairs and tennis rackets. Nothing wrong with it. Have fun.

My wife was a nurse in Memphis and recovered Sid Vicious after he had cervical spine surgery. He said he had to pee so she gave him a urinal (one of those little jugs you pee in) and he said he couldn't pee laying down and proceeded to get up off the gurney so he could stand up to pee. My wife is 5 feet tall and tried to stop him but he got up anyway. She then basically told him, "Don't fall because I can't catch you." She said he was freaking huge. Pretty insane a guy who just had his neck operated on, either for a fusion or a herniated disc, and wheels out of the OR and just gets off the bed and stands up.
