Ricky Proehl and Don Gregory having dinner with WR Lattimer

I'm starting to wonder if Latimer gets DJ Hayden'd and gets nabbed a lot sooner than anybody expects this year. If anybody does I think he could be that guy.

He's who I'm settling in on pulling for our pick.

The Eagles have had multiple visits with him.

It seems the only pushback on drafting Latimer is bc it messes up one's previous mock draft they posted lol.. Or they never heard of him and he did not get the hype till just now.

Understood as I was hoping we would get him in the third or fourth but like a Stephon Gilmore in the draft two seasons ago...the more tape watched...size/speed/ability is broke down the more that player looks like an elite player in the draft.

Latimer looks the part of a number one more than a Cooks(slot), Odell B jr(slot), K Benj(raw and possibly too big to be no.1), Marquse Lee(run blocking).

I would be happy with any of the above players but the more you see Latimer..the more you hear scouts break him down..the more he seems like a no brainer WR in the first.

I agree

Shooting up boards. Personally I don't see 7 WRs in the 1st like the pundits are saying. DL, OL, QB will still dominate and take up some unexpected spots. We need a player with big catch radius tho. Lattimer could fit the bill but i honestly think KB could still be there.

I like everything that I have read, and I'm OK with him at 28 if RP and DG thinks he is the deal.

That said, I am not seeing the "explosion" off the line like i have read, but I do see long speed for sure.

If he can consistently win jump balls, is a willing blocker, and can catch in traffic, bring him on board.

Per Rotoworld a few days ago:

Indiana WR Cody Latimer will work out for "nearly every team" today in Indianapolis, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Latimer has been recovering from a foot fracture, and plans on going through every on-field drill during this delayed pro day. Latimer has exceptionally good hands and can run for a big body. He doesn't separate as much as others while on the ground, but he creates a sliver of space as the ball approaches. The end of the first-round is not out of the question for Latimer.

This definitely makes me think he'll be gone.

That's my fear, as well. The Jets and the Eagles are the two biggest concerns, and honestly, he could be gone by the early 20s. However, if he does drop out, then someone like either Cooks or OBJ has to fall to us.

I will be happy if Latimer is there at 60 and we take him but at 28 idk.  You don't draft a guy early just because you are afraid someone else will draft him after you if you don't.  If you board does not have the value on him at that pick then let someone else take him.  And you take what you view as the better player.

Drafting guys early because you are afraid of someone else drafting him after you is how you take Mike Williams over Demarcus Ware.
