Trying to compare Star against some no name DT nobody has heard of based on actual tackles and sacks is hilarious.

The Panthers lead the league in sacks. The league. In sacks. You think that doesn't have a little bit to do with Star's influence?

hold it, hold it

hicks is technically a rookie.  you forgot that part.

Lmao a nobody? Saints had one of the best defenses in the NFL and Hicks was a big reason why

Hicks put up better numbers which means he's a nobody?

Nice logic durrr

So let me get this straight:

Hicks as a rookie, on one of the worst defenses in NFL history (Saints D 2012) couldn't get on the field and only played in limited snaps…

Is better than,

Star Lotulelei who came in, started, and anchored one of the best defenses and front sevens in the league as a rookie.

Makes sense.

i know it's hard to to accept that a 3rd round project is better than your 1st rounder

Deal with it

He put up better numbers in the two basic level stats you picked to measure a DT by.

How many double teams did he eat? How many sacks did the defense have while he was in the game freeing up DEs and LBs? How many gaps filled, runs stuffed, interceptions, and overall influence on the game?

I knew you couldn't put together a decently thought out and sound argument.

Thank you for proving my point.

I bet you wanted to write about how he got better from his first season to his second, but that would have blasted your own argument of him still being a rookie to shreds.

what hicks does is a far cry from what star does

if star put up his numbers as a 0 or 1 tech he'd have been an all pro

Wouldn't be hard to accept...if there were any validity to it (there's not).

That it comes from someone who sounds like an idiot that doesn't have enough brains to tie his shoes certainly doesn't help.
