Adrian Wilson Released

The veteran safety has been released by the Patriots without playing a snap last season. He is coming off an injury, would be pretty cheap, and if he has anything left in the tank could be a good addition that fits Gettleman's idea of a good FA pick up.

He is, however, more of a strong safety I believe so with the addition of Harper who knows if it happens but I think he would be a good fit regardless.

He's 34 right?  Not sure he has anything left at his age coming off injury after missing last season.  Pats don't seem to think he has anything left.  He was a hell of a safety for a lot of seasons though.

True. I think that's why Gettleman is meeting and visiting with DeCoud. DeCoud is more of a ball-hawker and probably better in coverage than anything we have at the position right now.
