Marqise Lee Visiting Panthers

Well, aren't you special. What happens if I don't recede into the background? You gonna tell Zod? Damm dude. It is a message board. People tend to write messages up in here. If you are going to take everything so cereally, you are going to spend a whole lot of time pissing and moaning at folks.

I was giving you a hard time about your perceived hard on for Lee. Take it for what it was worth. Fun for me, not so much for you.

Also, now that you have gone and got all uppity. Please try and be somewhat civil when you do call me out for not liking your homeboy. Mkay? I have been nothing but pleasant with you. I would appreciate the same courtesy.

Two South Park references in one post. New personal best. Yea! And there was great rejoicing.

Oh, oh, oh, I almost forgot. Lee at 28? LOL. He ain't going in the first two rounds. Let alone the first. LOL again.

Move along, nothing to see here. 3 SP, woowhoo.

I am through with this one. A Cousin Vinny reference. Damm, I'm on a roll.

Admit you're a trolling loser or put your fuging money where your mouth is. Sig/avatar bet for a year....

And yes I know you're trying to be a fuging loser so lets just leave it at that and let people actually have a real debate.

I wanted Allen so bad last year. The thing I liked about Allen is that he dominated while at Cal despite sub-par QB play. His 1/2 brother was the QB and he was not nearly as good at QB as Keenan was at WR. Still no team could really stop Allen his last year. He physically dominated the PAC10 and often completely took over games.

I like Lee, but I am not sure Lee dominated like Allen. Maybe because USC had more talent than Cal so Lee didn't have too. So Lee's hands, route running, knowledge of the game become more important for me than say a Benjamin. That said, I could live with Lee at 28.

2800 yards and 25 TDs in his first two years isn't dominating? Could have fooled me...

Kids. You just gotta love em'.

You keep getting madder and madder. And throwing slurs my way is...well, hurtful. I bet you are a blast in home room.

Listen. I have told you multiple times. I am having a blast fugging with you. You are making this just too damm easy.

Avg. speed, avg. size, iffy hands. Yup. Sounds exactly what the Panthers need at 28.

Ah hellz, I'm done. It's been fun. Carry on. Lee at 28. Just LOL.

How many people have actually seen Lee play a game when he wasn't injured? Looking at stats is one thing but Lee is probably the most dynamic WR in all of the draft. If you are going to reply please actually respond to the first question

Like I said earlier in the thread. If we went on 2012 stats alone some of these guys would be trashing Sammy Watkins. Using stats alone (especially from one third of a players career) to gauge a players worth is ridiculous.

But let us not use 1 player to paint a broader picture. Let's be honest. The best college WRs have difficulty translating to the pro game. Although it does/can happen. You just can't predict where it will happen. So...as most NFL teams are conservative by nature. Those reaches are far and few between.

Teams want starters. Especially the first two picks. You take who you trust in the first couple rounds. And hope you can hit it big it in the later rounds.

We are lucky in that we have a pretty good scouting staff. Led by Gman, we have some good talent evaluators. If last years draft repeats. We will find talent. Where that talent will play is the biggest concern around here.

Our FO put us in this situation to where we need to have sure fire starters in the first couple of rounds and that's the bad part, but we shouldn't pass up a guy like lee just because it's a possibility he won't dominate from day 1.

if the guy checks out physically he would be a very good pick at 28

if you think Lee has average speed because he ran a 4.52 at the combine, it is obvious you have never seen him play.

Some people just don't understand there's a difference between speed in shorts and speed in pads.... sigh

By the way, Marqise ran a 200m in 22 seconds his Senior year of High School, but year he's slow....

That's on top of having a 25' long jump and being the final leg on the Trojans' 4x100m relay team that placed sixth nationally with a 40.93 in 2012....
