Marqise Lee Visiting Panthers

Black

Recommended Posts

My first-round WR List (for those of you who really, really care):

1. Sammy Watkins

2. Mike Evans

3. Brandin Cooks

4. Odell Beckham

5. Marqis Lee

Second Round WR List (That is a strong group)

6. Jordan Matthews

7. Kelvin Benjamin

8. Allen Robinson

9. Davante Adams

10. Donte Moncrief

11. Jarvis Landry

Third Round WR List (looks to be a loaded round for speed WRs):

12. Martavious Bryant

13. Cody Latimer

14. Paul Richardson

15. Bruce Ellington

16. Jared Abbrederis

Early 4th

17. Dri Archer (4.28 speed)

18. Robert Herron

Considering our needs, we need a WR in the first or second round--the third round is for complimentary WRs-

Because he can't possible improve his drop rate. He peaked in college.

He probably peaked in High School. You either have the hands or you don't. Some of it may be concentration, which is still a red flag. Some of it may be QB play, or even to some extent injury. I just think that drops are a major concern.

To me, dropping 1 out of every 8 passes. Not good. It is the same reason I would steer clear of Benjamin. Drops are killers. I just prefer they happen to my opposition. Not to my WRs.

Especially, in Lee's case, when they happen so close to the line of scrimmage. That concerns me no end.

Yep a dude who didn't play WR till his Senior year of high school peaked at catching the football. For fugs sake at least know what you're talking about....

Well...that would definitely explain his many, many, many, way too many drops. Just one more reason to stay away from him. Overrated, not deep threat running, pass dropping WR. We just got rid of Lafell. Do we really need his distant cousin?

Not gonna lie. I really have no clear choice as to which WR/WRs we take this year. But...it is fun ragging on Lee. What with all his take this stuff way to cereally fan boys and all.

I think it's how important it is for our FO to hit not one, but two homeruns with WR this draft year.  The quality of WR this year in the draft and the dire need for a #1 and #2 I think has many on edge as to nailing the right WRs.  Everyone has "their" guy and it's fun to read all of the passion from fans.

Oh I see it. We had a great year last year. And folks are worried we are not going to see another good year. They are worried that the same ol' not winning back to back years Panthers will return. They see all these shiny new WR waiting to be had. They can't help but get excited for their favs, and wish them for our team.

Me? Give me a LT and a WR at the top of the draft. That would suit me just fine. I saw what Gman did last year as no fluke. He can/will round out the roster with FAs, and draft BPA. With the core we have, that should be enough to keep us competitive.

We are close. We should continue to improve. I am just enjoying the ride. After a lifetime of being a Lions fan. This is good stuff.

As long as we stay away from Lee in the 1st.

yeah people overreact the dropping thing, those can be fixed easliy with hard work and with a guy like proehl he could do wonders with lee.

usually receivers with good yac sometimes concentrate on what there going to do after the catch before the ball is secured in for a catch, common mistake among those type of receivers T.O is a good example of this.

You know how I know you either....

A: Have never watched Lee outside of highlights and lowlights cut ups or

B: Are a complete troll

That's how.

The absurdity of this is just mind numbing.
