Fluff piece on the LSU duo by Max Henson of panthers.com. Hmmm. That's an idea

Productive play-makers that have history and chemistry with one another at arguably our greatest position of need; perhaps that is the logical double-dip here.

Wide receivers Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry formed a unique bond as high schoolers in Louisiana and teammates at Louisiana State

This dynamic pair of LSU receivers helped bring the best out in each other in Baton Rouge.

"It's like apples and oranges," Landry said.

"We definitely bring different things to the table," Beckham said at the combine. "He's a possession guy that is going to catch everything around him. He's a physical guy who is going to make those tough catches. I'm a guy who is going to take the top off a defense and use a lot of my speed as my strength."

Added Landry: "He takes the top off things a lot. For me, it's intermediate. It's the dirty work mostly, but you know, I love to do it."

Think about it!

OBJ has been growing on me a lot but I've always been a HUGE fan of Jarvis Landry. I don't care that he's not blazing fast. He is a tremendous receiver and, in my opinion, has the best hands of all receivers in the draft. I think he's going to be a great slot receiver in the NFL.

Yeah, I think I kinda misjudged Landry too harshly due to the Combine.  I made the mistake of overlooking Keenan Allen last year until about a week or two before the draft.  Then I absolutely thought that we would and should draft him with that second pick.

Ever since someone brought up Landry being the most Boldin-like receiver in this draft in my other thread regarding Devin Street, I said to myself "Well I'll be damned..."

I wouldn't hate the idea of picking up OBJ in the first and Landry in the second (especially the third), but I don't know that either one in those respective rounds is realistic. Not saying that it isn't, but I don't know.  I am thinking that we'll have to get an OT in the second (for me it would be JaWuan james), but if Landry was there in the third, I would think about him (as well as Brandon Coleman and Martavis Bryant).

It's going to be an interesting draft.
