How was Godfrey? I have high hopes for him to be our cornerstone FS.

Honestly I can't say that much one way or the other. It seemed most of the throws today weren't long ones. Lots of intermediate and short ones. As I said, the tight end was targeted more than I can remember. I should be able to tell more tomorrow when they scrimmage. I didn't see him imvolved that much. Maybe it was just me.

Speakin on Lloyd then, perhaps he has improved from last year... Would love to see a 65 yard kick in preseason.. :)

Yeah, last year he really wasn't that accurate. Today he looked good. I would like to see him try one in a game to see if he is cool under pressure.

I am too. The gentleman behind me at Fan Fest sure wasn't, proclaiming it "dink and dunk crap".

:cheers2:

dink and dunk as he calls it wins ball games if you have a good enough defense. Also it runs clock and keeps that d fresh. Also it keeps the run rush honest and forces some type of zone coverage which means that a defense is probably a bit confused and on their heels as far as anticipation goes and.....the playbook opens. To me there is nothing more satisfying than frustrating the sh|t out of your opponent and moving the chains all day long without looking like you are doing anything difficult at all. One of my favorite drives in Panther history was the opening drive against Indy with Vinny at the helm two seasons ago.

>to your neighbor at FF: "Sorry every play does not include Evil Kenevil, a giant gorilla, a sword-fight, and something else flashy that you have never seen before....idiot."

A: it was a practice

B: it was a practice

C: it was a practice

I just love fanz

yup...it's one of my favorites too.

11 minutes and 1 second of keeping the colts offense on the bench and their defense on it's heels.

too bad it took the colts only 11 minutes and 57 seconds to score 31 points.
