That was not what you said. You said they are checking out more qb's for competition for cam as if he was struggling like a geno smith or something. It was a stupid statement and you should just admit that or stfu.

Unless you mean competition for the backup position, then obviously you were inferring that Cam should have competition. I never hear anyone else's team's fans say their franchise qb needs competition so maybe I was wrong and you were talking about backups but I doubt it.

Panthers need a reliable backup long-term with Cam's playing style.  It's foolish to think he's going to be as durable as he has been in the past going forward.  Just like the Redskins would be foolish to trade Kirk Cousins for that same reason.  Derek Anderson is 32 and might be able to win a game here or there, but he's not going to carry your team if Cam blows his ACL in the preseason.  I hope they grab a young QB with some potential to back up Cam.
