I don't know about you guys... but IMO, Hendo is starting show what it takes to be a starting SG.  I don't want to lose him... if we can get someone better in his place, fine... but he's becoming a heck of a player.

We have some huge teases on this team with Hendo being one of them.

He has some games where he looks amazing but is never consistent. The same goes with Biz and MKG.

But don't worry we got him for $6m a yr for the next 3 years so we will have the chance to see if he develops

Easily the most inconsistent player on the team is Kemba.

Yes he is inconsistent shooting but when he shoots poorly he can still positively impact the game. Look no further than the game we had against the Wizards. He shot terrible but was a big reason we won that game. He played great D against Wall, had some great passes and made clutch plays down near the end of the game.

Hendo when he's off very rarely does he make it up in other areas and positively impact the game.

Honestly, all we really need are two players. A legit starting SG and a legit starting SF. Hendo and MKG, are role type bench players. Would be great on the second team. If we can upgrade those two positions, give Kemba an awesome backup PG and possibly add a good center to back up Al, we could easily be a top 3 team in the east really fast. Have to make the right moves. I think with our current team and players like Al, and Kemba, also with the Hornets coming back and MJ we will be very attractive to good FAs now. I am excited to see what kind of team we can have for our first year as the Hornets again.

Another big man that can score would be pretty awesome.  Zeller is awesome for the put backs and the D, but he does need to work on his back to the basket game.

Do not want Gay at all. Friend I grew up with played with him in Memphis and everyone there hated him. Friend talked to me about Gay not coming to practices and skipping because he didn't need them. Hollins and Gasol/Randolph got at him repeatedly to come and he wouldn't. They tried for 2-3 yrs to trade him and couldn't until Toronto finally did and they already got rid of him too (Sacramento Kings)

I love MKG, but we're really missing a small forward that can just shoot the ball. Al Jefferson would be even more deadly if MKG's man actually had to worry about MKG knocking down a jump shot.

Obviously LBJ or Melo would be everyone's number one and two options but those chances are slim to none.

Chandler Parsons is a restricted free agent and would be a nice addition but RFA's rarely switch teams.

A safe and cheaper option might be someone like Trevor Ariza (who I believe Cliff and Pat coached in Orlando). Ariza is a guy that will get you 15 night in and night out but he also wouldn't take a whole lot of minutes away from MKG, you could easily split the minutes between the two 50-50.

However if we're trying to fix the weakest position on the court then we need to fix the power forward position. With as much money we have, we could possibly lure Z-Bo from Memphis creating what would be the best duo of big men in the NBA (Randolph and Jefferson).

PG: Walker, draft pick, Pargo

SG: Henderson, Taylor, Neal

SF: MKG, CDR, draft pick

PF: Z-Bo, Zeller, McBob, Tolliver

C: Jefferson, Biyombo

Kemba shot the ball 22 fuging times in the Washington game.  That's not acceptable for a PG with a big like Big Al.  He was 0 for 10 from 3.

Kemba is 22nd in the league among PGs in assist to turnover margin.

22nd in FG percentage.

37th in 3 point percentage.

His FG shooting is not very good, especially when he is jacking up 3s.  He needs to shoot about 20% less and make about 3 less boneheaded plays each game.  Kemba is good at swiping the ball, but gets lost coming around screens and it isn't a great defender.  The talent and drive is there, but he isn't quite where he needs to be at this point and its a damn shame to pair a big like Big Al that commands double teams with a PG that cannot shoot.  This team would be better served with DJ Augustin running the point.

You totally lost me at this. I understand Kemba isn't efficient shooting but he does so much more good than bad for our team. He is clearly our #2 and also a leader on the team. I don't even want to speak on DJ thats a joke

He also left out the fact that Kemba had 10 assists... his shot wasn't falling but they were playing off on him, so I'd rather he take the open looks.

And MKG is a big reason Al's awful defense isn't as big of an issue. When he was hurt our defensive rating plummeted. It's not as flashy, but what Al does on offense MKG does on D. They're both incomplete players but very good on their respective ends.

Biggest thing this team needs is a legitimate floor-stretching 2-guard, so hopefully we can swing one of Stephenson or Hayward (or trade for one with the Detroit pick).
