Does Clowney scare you?

Mr. Scot

Apparently, they would use him as a LB, and the reports I heard said he didn't look great in the LB drills.  So I could easily see them going a different direction.

Err say what?

Reports like these? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000338935/article/jadeveon-clowneys-proday-workout-impresses-everyone

Ya know where it says he looked good in the LB drills....

Seriously most of the people on here seem to base their opinions on high school drama type of bullshit.

If we had a top 3 pick this year everyone would be wanting Clowney and would be talking about how he is going to be a FHOF...

Now that there is a slight chance he will go to a division rival it's all he is going to be a bust and then others making up random poo like the guy above.

Lol. A bit defensive I see.  I always find it quite funny when the kids get their panties in a wad because everyone doesn't agree with them.  Actually, that's not true, I find it quite pathetic, and one of the worst traits of some of the more worthless posters on the huddle.

Come on, man. Scared? Nah. At worst (for us) Clowney is just another elite rusher. We can bring in another TE and Tugboat to help defend Cam if necessary. This is the pros.

My first reaction to this topic was to say let's see how motivated he is after The Tolldozer cracks him off something proper!

I think he will be Peppers 2.0. He will have some amazing plays/games and then he'll take half a game/season off.

All while carrying the entire team. He essentially guaranteed himself money by sitting last season. Imagine if he had played and pulled a Navarro Bowman for free.

You're the poo poster making up random stuff...post where you found his LB drills were bad...

Google JC's pro day and yea....

All the places that matter said he killed it but he was a bit tight in the hips(duh).

Setting aside that the Panthers have no proven left tackle right now (position to be filled between now and September) does the prospect of facing Jadaveon Clowney - should he be drafted by the Falcons - twice a year scare you?

Is there another potential pick by the Falcons that scares you more?

there's not a pick that scares me more, but Khalil Mack (assuming they are going to a 34, which, who the hell knows) scares me equally. Facing a guy with the talent of Von Miller twice a year is frightening. To a lesser degree, them taking Anthony Barr scares me too, for the same reasons.
