If we double dip at Wr what would be your favorite combo?

Good idea for a thread.  I think Cooks is going to be a star, so I would say Cooks and Latimer.  However, you bring up a point about Abbrederis.  We have nobody like him and he IS a bigger, faster version of Ricky Proehl (not to stereotype).  I would love to see what Proehl could do with this kid.

Considering this, I would love to see Cooks, a T, and Abbrederis.  I think Latimer is going in the second round.  Lotta scouts were impressed at his pro day.

That's why I'm high on players like Kelvin B. and Coleman.. I would love to see what a professional like Proehl could do to mold 2 imposing talents like them 2.

I really think they feel that McNutt or King could emerge as players-bottom of the roster guys, but still. Part of this is the skill set--we really don't have a pure slot like Cooks, so I like him a lot.  We don't have the 6'4" red zone WR.  That is why I like Coleman too, Latimer, Kelvin B.  I really think we are looking skill sets---Cam needs tall targets and guys who know how to go up and get the ball. I would add Matthews to the list too.  I really like his size/speed combination.

Again, this is a good thread.  I think a combination is a real possibility and I think it is possible if not likely in our situation.

I would love for them to get a quick, agile slot guy they could move around the formation and a big guy (6'4 and Up) that can develop into a red zone/ jump ball threat on the outside. Add these types to what we have now as pass catching options  would really diversify our offense.

Whatever round:

Mathews and whomever everyone else likes.

I think Mathews is a #1 imo.  However if he is picked up in the 2nd more great.

Cooks, OBJ, Lee, Allen, I don't care.  As long as Mathews is 1 of them.

Even though double dipping early on WR is a distinct possiblity. I would not get my hopes up too high for it. Knowing the BPA philosphy of Gett/Rivera....it very well might not happen.

So why even click on the thread? Lol

You obviously didn't want participate in activity.
