Completely underwhelmed, much like the last few seasons but we were all just finishing out the string.  Much preferred the Psych series finale.

Dammit, I'm behind in watching...Psych was one of the few series I supported by buying the DVDs each season.

I liked the finale but they handled one part poorly. The touching moment he had with the mother on the train platform, and then the reveal with the kids should have been separated by more. They went right from that sweet moment, to she's dead, to the kids being all, "go date Robin."

Ha that's true when you look at it like that.  It had been 6 years though.

The part that I thought was weird was the NPH baby scene.  It seemed a little over-dramatic.  Though I agree he's not one who's gonna find a wife and it would take having a kid to settle him down.

It seemed cool how things flipped things for Ted.  He was all about that destiny crap with finding a wife and when he finally found her, let it play itself out and had 2 kids before taking the time to tie the knot.

Initially, I was mad at the ending. If the show ended after the moment at the train under the umbrella, with Ted saying, "and that kids, is how I met your mother", I would've been happier.

After I watched again, I didn't hate him getting back with Robin...but the Mother just seemed like a minor detail at that point. Which, I guess she also was for the show. Just seemed more like, "Hey kids...this is how I met your mom...but always preferred Aunt Robin".

I'm perfectly fine with the ending...however can I just say that too much time was wasted in the events leading up to the wedding and then when they get to the finale episode every thing rushed.  I guess I understand why the mother was barely focused on this season, but I was just underwhelmed i general.  Marshall's entire journey to the wedding was pointless too.

But I have to say the finale scene brought a big smile to my face.
