What would you say is better? Game if Thrones? Its great but the books are better and being on HBO is an unfair advantage. Outside of that I can't think of anything I'd watch over arrow if you made me choose. Now I'm always open to suggestions so please enlighten me.

I think Arrow is the best show among the shows on the local channels listing part of my TV guide. But that's as far as I'll go.


It's great, and part of the greatness for me is the fact that it's a comic book hero on TV. That's something that, traditionally, has turned into campy fun (Adam West Batman, anyone?). The fact that Arrow isn't a campy show is awesome. The constant romantic angle to EVERY episode gets old, but it's whatever.

GoT is very good, and I never thought a show that wasn't on a pay network would ever be the best on TV.

Haven't seen Hannibal. It is on the list of shows I want to see though. Really wish it was on Netflix.

Funny casting news.

 

Back in season one of Arrow they had Steve Aoki as a guest playing himself(DJ'ing the opening of a club) Oliver mentioned he was able to get him there because he dated his sister.

 

Now Devon Aoki has been cast cast to play Katana for season three.  I think most people will know her as Miho from Sin city

Arrow isn't close to the "best show on TV" but it's really entertaining and for a CW show, it's really good, it straddles the "beautiful people CW line" and "good superhero" lines very well.   I hope Flash is the same.  Surprisingly, I found "The 100" a solid Sci-fi show once you get past the CWisms.  When anything is on CW you have to curb expectations a bit, same with like SyFy channel, etc.
