Although I know Thomas Davis, a LB, suffered THREE agonizing knee surgeries and appears to have his career back on track, I'm kind of hesitant to trust the knees of an OL. I believe Kugbila may just be a role player at best because of knee issues. Larger players such as linemen with knee issues just don't add up to long term success.

IMO we draft a OT in 1-2 round and he will get chance for the LT position in training camp & Pre-season.

Rookie OT Talent > Bell

I think Bell start regardless who we pick at OT. The only way Bell doesn't start at LT is if we get a another Vet before TC.

I don't want a guard in the first.

Both Martin and Cyrus played LT in college and both project as RT's at best in the Pros.  Martin is not a road grader but a "technician" type guy.  Same thing was said about Kalil.

I just don't think there is a LT starter for us unless we are picking top 10.

Bell will be the starting LT even if we take a later round guy who will have to develop.

If Martin(short arms) or Cyrus(questionable knees), can play RT, according to our coaches, then we might pull the trigger.

I still have the hope, more now than ever, that the QBs are not going fast and furious at the top of the first and there could be opportunities for a trade down to a Jacksonville or Houston at the bottom of the first.  Hoping that anyway.

I still go back to how the NY Giants drafted over the last 12 seasons.  Only like 3 or 4 OLineman total were drafted in all those years in the first 3 rounds, so they were not big on taking big guys early.  They were big on WR's and DB's.

Who knows if we will follow that path.

Uh I've seen a bunch of places that both can be starting LTs and I have especially seen Moses being said he can start day one as LT not sure where you are getting your info from

You know, initially I wasn't on board with Cyrus at all. Mostly that opinion was based solely in the combine. However, since then I've watched quite a bit of tape on he and Moses and I have to admit i'm starting to lean in their direction at 28, would love it if one of them fell to 60.

Yes, Cyrus got beat for 2 sacks by Oklahoma by two speed rushes on the outside by a guy half his size but I have to say, its like he completely dominated for the other 95%-98% of the time in the games I watched. Sometimes its like they didn't even bother challenging him much he was so dominant.

Add Cyrus' young age into the equation and i'm starting to favor him over Moses by a slight margin. I like what I see in Moses too, watching him stonewall Aaron Donald when he dared to line up on him was nice to see. Both these guys are susceptible to speed rushers on the outside but who isn't. When  a big guy tries to bull rush them it seems they're at their best, they just dominate. I'd love to see Cam have that security.
