Cotchery as #1 WR or Bell at starting LT or rookies starting at both positions

I think we will count on Olsen and a highly drafted TE to help with the receiving and running game. This will make our tackles better by default and they chip DEs. I think Bell will be on the left side but with Amini there it won't be as awful as people think. Chandler will be the right tackle and Williams/Kugbila will be the RG. I think this line will be okay not good. I don't know who will be in the slot or out wide since we don't know who will make the opening day roster at this point.

I've been thinking about drafting a TE in the first couple rounds like ASJ or Amaro, help with the run and pass game. Plus we've gone to a short efficient pass game, cams gotten better in the short game

Meh, Gettleman is aware of the holes and scenarios, I'll give him a chance to address them before I consider any worst case, panic situations.

DG has forgotten more about football and talent evaluation that the vast majority of us will ever know, myself included.

Let things play out, even if that looks like Bell at LT AND and rookie as the best WR option.

I would love to see GMan get some talent with a few bucks in his pocket

I agree, though I still don't think we'd see many, if any, of the big splash FA signings other teams are making. Even when not forced into it I would imagine DG is fiscally conservative and always looking for the true value players over those with big names.

Oh I agree but now it is like shopping at Dollar Tree. With a little change it would be like TJ Max. I  never see him as a Neiman Marcus guy

Knowledge by itself does not guarantee success unfortunately. Decisions can make or break a franchise.

I'm not saying that Gettleman is not making the right decisions, just saying that there are many factors.

About Bell and missing on OT in free agency.  What are they supposed to say?

Unknowns:

Bell on the left side --we know what he did on the right side--not good enough.  Is there reason to believe LT is more natural for him?

Chandler on the left side---our most athletic OL actually has some interesting experience--as a G and DT.  Combine those skills with his athleticism, and he c could be a prototype.  Still, like Bell, the odds are against him.

Arookie--I think a rookie T will eventually take the job, but rubbing veteran players' noses into the LT job in the offseason might motivate them.
