NFC scout: Evans made Manziel / AFC Exec: Ebron, ASJ overrated.

I use to be sooooo into the draft process. I would know every single prospect from top to bottom, every season. Make dozens of mock drafts, argue with people all day regarding my draft opinions, and then when draft time came around I would just sit back in shock at the things that occur over those 3 days.

And I guess that's the fun of it. But after the last draft, it finally hit me. This is all SO unpredictable, you can't believe ANYTHING you here because there is so much false or fabricated information. Not only that but we, as fans have absolutely NO say or affect on ANYTHING, nor do we understand how to scout and draft players for a franchise.

So this year, I haven't paid attention at all. I know the names of the top 50 or so prospects out of pure curiosity, but I did not fully engage in the draft shenanigans like I usually do. It's saved me a lot of time, effort, and I won't be so shocked/confused when it's draft weekend. I highly suggest you all take the same route.

Actually, we traded our original 7th round pick for Colin Jones to the 49ers (pick 243). The Beason trade got us back into the 7th round (pick 225).

Manziel and Evans are both amazinng in there own right. To take credit away from either is being disengenuious at best and ignorant at worst.

 

Sorry but Manziel has bust wrote all over him. Every year there is a QB that is a no brainer and is the doll of the reporters. Manziel is short and made most of his plays with his feet. Not going to happen in the NFL and he is going to either learn how to play QB or bust big.

ASJ in the second and a OT or WR in the first is what dreams are made of. If an OT slips, we get luck on ASJ, we'll still have a lot of talent to choose from in the third, and even through the fifth.

If you're correct, then it's a good point. I haven't even looked at Ebron because I figure he'll be gone regardless. So Ebron is an all-around good guy, huh? No off field issues at all? No diva-like complex (more so than usual)?  The old fart is just being an old fart, huh? Wonder who it is. 

Yes he is an all around good guy. He has no off field issues or diva like attitude. He is more a joker type he likes to laugh and have fun.

Haha! We can't move up high enough to get Evans and NOT get raped. ie: Julio jones --- no thank you. This is the first year in several drafts where we actually have 7 picks....oh wait, we have an extra 7th round pick in exchange for the Jon beason deal.

Brandon Williams could be physical specimen that just cant play NFL ball for all we know. Ebron by all accounts is looking like he is going to fall, and while he may not fall to 28 if he falls enough we could trade up for him for not as much and get a great player. Olsen and Ebron would be amazing, Cam would love it.

 

When Shockey left we lost something and never got it back. Ebron. Will be good receivers in 2nd and 3rd
