I've had a hard on for ASJ at 28 for months. Is it REALLY possible his injury pushes him down to 60? I honestly don't know but would be orgasmic. I don't see James lasting to our 3rd round pick at all, but would be double orgasm. IMO we'd be lucky to have James in the 2nd.

A decent looking draft.  In the beginning I liked Victor Hampton a lot, but he has his problems in the attitude department.  I don't know if those late round receivers would have any kind of impact on the team, or if they would make the team.

No LT.

Fug no

If you're really that inflexible, you're going to get a rude awakening on draft day. Chances are, not all our positions of need are going to be filled, even the ones in the worse shape often slip through the cracks.

I can assure you we will be drafting a LT within the first 3 rounds. Unless some freak occurrence happens and every decent LT prospect gets scooped up before our 2nd round pick. (not happening)

LT is one of the most important positions in football and at present we have no one. One will be drafted.

Like someone saying we wouldn't draft a DT last year. DG is a firm believer in games are won and lost on the trenches. Wouldn't surprise me if we drafted 2 LTs.

Giants didn't really draft a lot of OL while he was in NY. The tackle position in this draft is tricky and we are in a bad spot for that position. The best value at pick 28 will most likely be DB and WR. The top OTs will be gone and if we took one there it'd likely be a reach. At the end of round 2 it's still tricky. At this point I see most of the tackles as very risky. Most have some sort of injury or concern. If we stay BPA, the best value is likely not going to be OT.

I think Bell will be the starting LT. It's time people accept that and move on. I really don't think he will be as awful as people think though. Some guys play better on one side than the other. With that said, the left side could be his weaker side. I think he shows promise and had to deal with a lot of diversity on the OL which can effect players.

Exactly.  Bell or Chandler at LT is something I'm at least getting used to the idea of because it's a strong possibility one of them is our starter week 1.

I mentioned in another thread: Maybe we somehow land Lewan, Martin, or Koaundijo but outside of that, if it's Turner, Bitioni, James, or even Moses, they're gonna be on the right side.  Tiny, Fleming, and Hurst are the closest things outside the first that look NFL LT ready (And honestly it's a stretch to say that) but is the value going to align with us when we pick?  It may not given other talent in the class.

Turner is not a RT. Has some of the quickest feet in the draft and isn't exactly a mauler.

The 1st tier WRs will be gone as well by 28. And unless Dennard or Gilbert fall the 1st tier CBs will be gone as well.

We will most likely be picking from 2nd tier OL, WRs, and CBs.

The second tier WRs are way better than 2nd tier OL
