He's not going to be a panther because of his contract primarily.  May be other reasons, but I doubt DG was frothing at the mouth for him before he found out he reportedly had "gang ties."

Fwiw, one could say that I have gang ties.  A acquaintance of mine from my late teen and early 20 years that I use to hang out with is now a Hells Angel.  Haven't seen him in a few years, but I would still drink a beer with him if I saw him in a bar.  On the other hand, the NFL is a high profile job, so I can understand why the Eagles might want to get rid of a potential headache.

 

That being said, Jackson isn't coming to Carolina, and never was.  We don't have the money.

Jackson isn't a "choirboy" but he has a clean record and has maintained one. Teams really should be more concerned with him and his constant distraction issues with contracts and such more than some gang ties
