Rivera says Cam wasn't consulted in WR moves

Not the same, dude. Luke isn't the focal point of the team. Revisionist history. Nobody saw that defense being as good as they were. Now people want to behave as though this team, for the past several years, wasn't Cam and everyone else. This organization is unique, because of that.

Cam is not the only QB to be the focal point of his team, he's not even the only young QB.

Wait.. Cam wasn't our entire offense? Lol okay. Extremely and ridiculously literal. I see what you are doing here.

This argument pretty much collapses on itself.

"Cam is the team!" Then why should we worry about the quality of players around him?

"Cam needs good players around him.". Then he's not 'the team', is he?

Pick a side.

Why? WHats the difference of knowing something either on Monday or Wednesday? If their mind was made up, why consult a player who is going to not want a player gone and still release that player anyway?

He's the face of your franchise....I'm not saying it shouldn't have been done at all, however I do feel as though he at least deserved to be given a heads up.

Brady was surprised and disappointed that the Pats let Welker go. He then proceeded to put on his big boy pants and lead his team to the playoffs....again..just like Cam will.

I swear some of you think that an NFL franchise is more like a soap opera or sorority than a business.

1. Brady was not surprised. He was consulted before hand. He just disagreed with the decision

2. Welker was free agent. He was not cut

3. Newton is not Brady. Brady is a first ballot Hall of Famer with a decade of experience

4. I want to you remember "the NFL is a business" when players start demanding higher salaries and hold out
