Lol. Figured as much. I always wondered about the fathers/brothers of abused women.....any man who puts hands on a female relative of mine will have signed his death warrant. Might not be that month or even that year. I can wait 4 or 5 years godfather style but eventually dude is going in the dirt.

I like how the Raven's owner and John Harbaugh describe what Rice did as a "mistake".

That word has been so perverted in its use these days.

I wonder if Rice did that to one of their daughters whether they'd consider it just a little "mistake"?

Update on his case

He won't do any time, fiancée isn't going to move any further with the case. Lawyer states "ray and his fiancée are happy and are in counseling"

Do they need the fiance to move forward with the case?

Don't they have it on the internal hotel video?

What are they suppose to say. I guarantee they look at him differently now

Yeah what? So you can do whatever you want to someone even if they have it in tape as long as they don't press charges? I'm not a lawyer but that seems a little far fetched

That's what I'm wondering, it would seem as though there's enough evidence for a favorable verdict without her cooperation. I thought states had the freedom to prosecute criminal cases regardless of the parties interest.

Depends on what type of person he is outside of that and if it's an isolated incident. Would you want to be judged on the worst thing you've done in your life?

While your point is valid it will not be well received based on the scenario before us. Woman beating will trump every other argument.
