WR Cody Latimer has a scheduled visit with the Panthers

Bring in Cody Hoffman while we're at it. Hell, Cody Zeller runs like a 7 foot gazelle, sure he falls over a lot but if his hands are good he could be a great red zone target and just fall into the end zone.

I have overlooked this guy-I blame myself.  He is tall and goes up and gets it.  Perfect skill set for Cam Newton, who tends to throw high.  I watched Rum's highlight video (Thanks for posting, Rum) and if he runs a 4.38 or so, based on the 10 plays I saw, and has good hands, and can run routes, and can beat the jam.....he could be a late first rounder by May.  I will look into him more.

 

When Rivera said, "We may not have a #1 WR (or inferred it) that tells me that we are going to take advantage of the talent in the draft.  Most rookies are not #1 WRs, but all #1 WRs were rookies at one time.

That was the first thing I noticed.  Cam's tendency to throw it high, something that apparently bothered Lafell, looks to be in this guy's wheel house.

 

I have not seen much from him, but I will take a closer look. I have to think that the Panthers are going to love his skill set.

Impressive pro day and definitely agree with Ninja...passes the eye test big time. He reminds me of a Torrey Smith or a faster version of Boldin when watching his tape. I don't know if it's the defenses he faced, but the kid knows how to get open the same way a ball hawking safety knows where to be to make a play on defense. Really wish he could make it to our third round pick, but after those numbers, I doubt it. Played basketball, which probably explains that ridiculous 39" vert. Slept on this kid big time....maybe I was confusing him wit Cody Hoffman...haha
