Smith went up and got some deep balls in coverage last year that the other two guys couldn't. He is still a deep threat even if he has lost a step

that's the funny thing about smith he went from a guy like desean jackson with YAC,to now a aquan boldin type player...................i've said it before but i think smittys in that category of players that could play at a high level pass 35........time will tell

Panthers were last in the league in passing plays that gained over 20 yards.  Cam was 10th in the league in attempts 20+ yards downfield.  The offense had no playmakers outside of Cam.
