Rivera speaks.....finally

The buffalo game was the icing on the cake for Bells total performance he's horrific as wouldn't start anywhere else in the league, he's backup at best! Not athletic enough to play the position in mine and many others opinions, you want to suck off riveras every decision so be it but come back to me after a few games when bells benched or moed back to RT because the move has failure written all over it.

do you usually enjoy talking about people sucking off guys or is this a one time thing?

No today is your lucky day :)

I just don't like the fit that's all and Rivera is more qualified than myself to decide yes but most people and I'm one of them do not think bell is the answer at LT or RT just my view.

fwiw, I think it has the potential to go extremely bad as well...

Just from a fan's perspective, I really want Josh Norman to do a good enough job to keep a roster spot.

It's hard enough on him given Rivera keeps him in the doghouse with a "one strike, you're out" routine (wish he held Bell and some other guys to this standard).

Steve Smith wasn't fond of him either (issues with his attitude, work ethic).

SO IN OTHER WORDS:

-Bell will take his suckage to the other side and still get credit for nothing

-Godfrey is done in Carolina

-SS was indeed a problem

-We don't plan on RG3ing Cam

-Everyone named Josh survives

-Godfrey cut will bring in either some Oline help or a washed up WR if we don't hit on our draft.... or maybe another LB

-That's it basically

Well at least our defense is solid! No way we get anything other than WR/OL is the first 4 rounds!

Pie if only for your first point alone.

Let it be known though (you and I already know) that Steve didn't like anyone who challenged him, and Norman certainly challenged him from the time he was drafted.

You guys think Norman got abit full of himself after playing extremely well in ore season? Just seems strange that he was dropped for Thomas who's far worse a talent than Norman is.

so that's twice now that godfrey was mentioned only because someone pressed the issue

The reason Godfrey is still on the roster and not an early June 1 cut is almost certainly because he hasn't been cleared medically yet. If you try to cut a player under contract that is not at least healthy enough to compete, you had better be prepared to give him an injury settlement or face the consequences of a union grievance. Either one of those alternatives will cost the team money. They will expect him to rehab and follow doctor's orders until he gets cleared and then they will cut him post June 1.

He went to the bench because he wouldn't consistently play as assigned. Either he didn't understand what he was supposed to do or just didn't follow instructions well. See the Buffalo game as a case in point. Josh Thomas may not have the talent of Norman, but the coaches apparently think he at least pays attention to the coaches and his teammates, something Norman was failing at.

I usually agree with your views, but Norman is garbage. I've been saying it since he stepped on the field week 1 against Tampa two years ago.

By the way for those who just joined, and like to comment and watch everything I say. I believe I was the first here on the Norman sucks wagon and had many here bash me for it. Zod and Kurb included. I believe Zod even created a thread defending him. But the man is garbage and he will lose games for you.

The Bills game last year comes to mind.
