No compensation picks for Panthers

Per Person on twitter and the CO. After losing all our starting WR Corp and half the secondary,you would think we would get something....anything for the losses. I thought that losing starters in FA is a prerequisite for obtaining more draft picks. Perhaps someone with more information can fill me in on why we got skunked.

in reality, those picks were awarded from last years free agent losses, not this years.

Don't the players we lose to free agency have to be offered a contract atleast from our team in order to get compensation picks?

James Anderson was the only notable player lost last year, and I'm not sure that you get picks for players who were cut rather than a straight free agent.
