We don't know that Britt was ever contacted, let alone brought in for a visit.

If Williams isn't a head case or facing a suspension due to this then I'm all for bringing him in. He's shown a TON of promise and I'd love to see what Proehl and continuity at QB could do for him.

 

I've been watching Rotoworld closely for news about him, and I know he never visited us. I believe the previous two teams he visited were the Bills and Patriots. The Patriots said they will not sign him.

Blackmon is the more talented of the two, but he's also a lot closer to being booted from the NFL, Williams is the "safer" pick of the two.
