Good point. I think he has the same chance as Kenny Britt to get signed by us. Probably will build through the draft though in later rounds.

Sucks that he's had off the field issues (mainly DUI, bothering neighbors with partying, and now being stabbed). Dude is 26 years old, 6'2" 212 and has averaged 900 yds/8TDs a season prior to his injury last season. If Britt is in the picture, I'd have to say Williams is viable too. I'd feel weird rolling out two of Tampa's WRs, but am equally as intrigued with a talent like Williams catching passes from Cam.

If Williams isn't a head case or facing a suspension due to this then I'm all for bringing him in. He's shown a TON of promise and I'd love to see what Proehl and continuity at QB could do for him.

Good, young option. Bring him in. He made some mistakes that many young adults make and it'll cost him a few bucks. He'll want to prove he is worth a long term deal by producing as much as he possibly can.

He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but after this incident he gets the point.  Get cut and move on.  You have to pour your blood out in this industry.  He might just be a bandaid for the Panthers.  But, we are still feeling the old wounds of Marty Hurney, so we are desperate.  Let's take a stab at it, fill the holes, and push deep into the playoffs.
