Wish we could double on WR

I am fairly certain that we have more than two picks. We can draft both linemen and wide receivers.

yea with 7 picks, if i was the GM, i would double dip at OT and WR in the first four rounds. Then possibly add a "diamond-in-the-rough" OT and WR in subsequent rounds.... so basically i would triple-dip at both positions this draft. and that still leaves one more pick to shore up other needs like CB, G, TE, and S.

Well, that is probably why you are not a GM.

I will bet you $100 that we do not draft 4 WR's this year.

I'd like to see 2 pass catchers (WR/TE), at least 1 LT, CB, OLB and interior OL swingman to replaced Byers and Hangartner as someone who can play all three interior spots.

That would be ideal to me.

I think that combination is the mix that will be likely.

With the focus on BPA I see LB, DE, etc possibly being selected....just not that early.

Though a stretch, at DE would give us a lot of flexibility with Hardy and CJ next season, so it wouldn't shock me if one is taken early. I would be a little disappointed initially, but the end result would obviously be the deciding factor.

I want an OLB to replace TD at some point, ST in the meantime.

Go read Gettleman's comments on drafting game ready players who are mature and ready to contribute immediately. If you still think Benjamin is a high possibility, you are nuts.

Benjamin is very raw. He will need tine to develop and learn to run the entire route tree.

He does not fit what Gettleman says they are looking for.

Gettleman doesn't know what Gettleman is looking for
