Wish we could double on WR

Go read Gettleman's comments on drafting game ready players who are mature and ready to contribute immediately. If you still think Benjamin is a high possibility, you are nuts.

Benjamin is very raw. He will need tine to develop and learn to run the entire route tree.

He does not fit what Gettleman says they are looking for.

Very true. Benjamin has limited experience in college. Certainly not NFL ready yet. He's a 2nd round pick at best.

i want us to double up on OT and WR and draft a CB. i think we can do that and come out with really good players.

i'm not crazy about starting rookie OTs at all, but i'm all for drafting them and giving them a chance as long as we bring in decent FA competition for the starting gigs.

I would not say that he is a 2nd round pick.  Moreso that he is raw, but with trememdous physical skills and a high ceiling.  There are teams that are in a position to take a player like that and work a few seasons to develop him.

However, where we are (cap wise and need wise) we need for our rookies to pay BIG dividends their first season.  Thus the comment and position of Gett that we need NFL ready players to plug and play.

I was all about Benjamin, but then saw how Ebron was bigger, faster, and more agile.

Tight ends are VERY hard to cover, and make offenses dangerous. Gates, Graham, Gronkowski, Davis, Gonzo. They are all like aces, available at a check down price. Also softer on the cap hit.

I think it would elevate Cams game significantly.

Agree ;) .... Ben is not the answer rather go oline wr CB bpa untill it done :)))))

I think that's very doable and I would love it
