Canes sign Justin Faulk to 6 year extension

I know you already know this, but lets face it. We have a goalie who looks like he is primed and ready to be  top 10 at his position for years to come. The roster is LOADED just loaded with young talent. What does that tell me? It's a coaching problem. Get a coach who is proven and knows how to develop young talent and we will be killer next season.

 

I disagree with the loaded talent. We have largely missed with our past drafts aside from Skinner and Lindholm. 

Our team lacks talent relative to the other teams in the NHL. Sure when you watch Canes game your going to be like wow we are good and super talented but we actually suck compare to the rest of the NHL.

Talent is what we lack.

Well... I mean, I guess that's good.

But, we're sure spending a lot of money on players who can't seem to get this team to the playoffs. I'm not saying Faulk doesn't deserve it but we have so much money tied up in the Staal's, Semin, Skinner, Faulk, and Ward and yet here we are in 11th place or so.

Exactly why I hated when the Jets resigned Ladd, Bogosian, Little, Wheeler, Kane.

Kane and Wheeler you can't let walk for nothing. But yeah, you are locking up a group guys that don't make the playoffs every year. Every season it's been the same core and every season it's been the same result for Winnipeg.
