David Newton is as definitive as we've seen: D-Jax NOT happening!

Not even close to the same situation.

Hardy is one of the best DE's in the game and will be paid as such. DJax is an over rated small WR who is not even Top 20.

With all due respect Hatter, you're fuging crazy if you think DJax isn't a top 20 WR he's put up 900 yards or more every year he's been in the league except for 1, when he was hurt I believe.

He is a marginal #1 WR at those numbers.....if he is Top 20, he is right around #20.

Which is NOT worth anywhere close to the $11M that the dude is making.

There is a real reason that Philly wants his ass gone...he is NOT worth it.  My bet is that they think they can jetison hiss ass out of Philly and replace him with Cooks.

I like how people are so quick to judge someone they don't even know because of what they "read". Especially since we've learned from Cam that the media will make you out to be somewhere you're not.

I challenge anyone here to find a credible source that states Desean Jackson is wanting more money. I believe he was asked if he was worth more? What would you say if someone came to you and asked you if you were getting paid what you're worth at your job?

And don't give me that he's making millions he needs to shut up arguement. While some people would kill to wake up to a million dollars in their bank account, others would kill themselves if they woke up and that's all they had.

No credible source here.  But the evidence is the Eagles desperately trying to get rid of a guy that everyone around here thinks is so uber talented.  If he is a top 20 all world going to change everything for a team WR, why would Philly even try to get rid of him with him being under contract for three more seasons?

I mean, desperate to the point where even if the can't find a trade partner they are going to cut him and just eat it for nothing.  That is how desperate they are to part ways with this guy who is supposedly is the greatest WR since ever.

If anything it should give any team pause, and I lends credence to the idea that he is a headache.

It doesn't take very complicated deductive reasoning to figure that out

Rapoport says the Raiders aren't interested in trading for him either.

The only team that's said anything halfway positive is the Jets, and even there it was just a generic "we're interested in anybody that can help us" sort of thing.

Wow. Its as if very very few teams are actually interested, and deseans agent completely fabricated the story.....

As I tried telling you guys 3 threads ago.

Already accepted that premise.

What's tough is understanding the lukewarm /nonexistent interest in such a talented player.

nobody is admitting anything

Other teams are interested.  Unless they aren’t.  Unless they are.

Some think that the Eagles or the agent are lying about the existence of interest.  Others are convinced one or more teams are lying about the non-existence of interest.  Perhaps the only person telling the truth is Jets owner Woody Johnson, who risked a tampering violation by admitting the Jets have interest in Jackson.

The latest tidbits from Orlando is that the 49ers are very interested, despite an on-the-record denial — and that the Seahawks, while having no interest if the price tag is at or close to $10.5 million for 2014, would be interested at a significantly lower cost.

The confusion will continue until either someone does a deal with the Eagles for DeSean, or the Eagles give up and cut him.
