David Newton is as definitive as we've seen: D-Jax NOT happening!

DJax is not worth what he thinks he should get paid. That's why the Eagles are dumping him. It would be nice to have him for about half of what he makes...IF he could humble himself some and act like an adult. Neither likely to happen.

Even if you put DJax's diva attitude, pain in the ass behavior, etc aside and just focus on the $'s, it just does not make sense to sign him....which is why there basically is zero interest from other teams.

This is one of the deepest WR classes in decades.  Teams can draft a WR that gives you everything that DJax does, but at a fraction of the cost.  Teams would be crazy to invest $11M of cap space  in a WR when you can get a stud on a rookie deal....well except for the Jets (and that explains that).

This is the same reason why the money and interest for WR's like Decker, Nicks, Jones, etc was nowhere near what we have seen in the past.

I like how people are so quick to judge someone they don't even know because of what they "read". Especially since we've learned from Cam that the media will make you out to be somewhere you're not.

I challenge anyone here to find a credible source that states Desean Jackson is wanting more money. I believe he was asked if he was worth more? What would you say if someone came to you and asked you if you were getting paid what you're worth at your job?

And don't give me that he's making millions he needs to shut up arguement. While some people would kill to wake up to a million dollars in their bank account, others would kill themselves if they woke up and that's all they had.
