If you're holding out hope the Carolina Panthers will make a deal for Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson during the NFL owners meeting in Orlando, let it go. 

It's not happening. 

The Panthers don't have any interest in trading for Jackson even though they have been reported as one of several teams that have inquired. Don't look for that to change even if Jackson is released, which is the apparent direction this is headed.

And there’s suspicion in league circles that one or more of the identified teams actually aren’t interested in Jackson — and that the Eagles are leaking embellished and/or fabricated information about interest in order to build a trade market for Jackson.

 

 

This as well as the 49ers saying that they haven't even inquired about D-Jax...

      People looking at the offense negatively need to step back a minute and remember that expectations were mighty low this year. We have a lot of young guys and rookies. And our qb is a newby in the system he is in with a new coach who has never been a head coach and signal caller combined.  This is a work in progress so only an approach which recognizes incremental improvement is valid for best measuring where we are versus  demanding immediate success after a 2-15 campaign last year.
