i mean, he's only won the Biletnikoff award. so he must be decent

Yea and Matt Leinart won the Heisman to. But you don't see him still around do you? Winning a trophy doesn't always make your good. He may be good in the NFL. But we want know until the season begins. I hope we draft him and he turns out to be good.

Here is my take. We don't know who will fall in the first round. When we think sometimes a person was going to go in the top 10, but instead they drop into the teens. It happens. I'm sure some on this board last year didn't think Star was going to drop to us at 14. But he did just that. So before you think this person or that person want drop to us. You would be surprise how lame some teams picks in top ten is some time. It has happen and it can happen any time. I'm sure there is a good chance Cooks will drop to us. We just have to wait and see. The draft is a funny business sometime.

Yea, and lots of tall receivers do not pan out either.

Fact is WR has a high busy rate overall.

Yep.

As I've stated before, this is why it is best to go with a WR who can return punts. It gets them in the game and real reps immediately to build confidence.

If Cooks is the pick you can bet your sweet buns he will be playing on special teams.

I'm having a hard time seeing that if OBJ and Cooks are sitting there at 28, how we would take Cooks. Cooks looks more Tavon Austin/ Dexter McCluster to me, where OBJ look more like Maclin/Harvin. Their combine numbers are very similar, both can assist in the return game, both are speedy and great YAC. Beckham Jr went up against SEC talent every week and on tape, he looks more like an NFL receiver than Cooks, IMO.

I believe McNutt, King, Cotchery and Underwood are all 6-1 or 6-2.

So why not have a complementary piece like Cooks?

Now truth be told I will be happy with any of the following in the 1st in no particular order assuming Watkins and Evans are gone.

1. Lee

2. Benjamin

3. Cooks

4. Odell

But I am leaning to the quicker guys bc that is a good complement to what we have.
