This has been up on Panthers.com for a bit, but I am like some of you, sort of dismissing Kugbila and wondering about Silatolu's rehab.  I apologize if this has been discussed in another thread, there aren't too many topics we have not covered, but this gave me some hope for Kugbila and some optimism about Silatolu.

Kugbila was more injured last year than I thought.  I had to change my thinking about him after reading this.  He is a huge man.

The fact that Kug had a knee issue is may, strained his hamstring in training camp, re injured the knee from may in august, had mcl and pcl reconstructive surgery, and it swelled during rehab and had to be scoped out....without any experience in the NFL doesnt seem good for a big guy on the line. I could be wrong and hopefully eat my crow on that, but doesnt sound good for his knee. He says he has a chip on his shoulder and hopefully he comes out and earns a starting guard start.
