1st round Greg Robinson or Cyrus Kouandjio or Taylor Lewan

Way Truth Life

Fact is OL will be valued higher than WR. The FA pickups indicate an OL in the 1st

Whether that is true or not doesn't matter..  I dont agree or disagree.  Just saying.  BTW, Gett has always said that he drafts the BPA.

Look at the history of DG with the Giants... ONE wr picked in the 1st round.

If you look at only first round decisions, then my bet would be on a CB at 28, but as I posted a couple months back, look at the top three rounds picks' while Gman was with the Giants.

1st 3 rounds 40 picks

4 OLineman

9 DB's

9 DLineman

13 WR/TE

Did not list RB's or QB's

I think Zack Martin and Morgan Moses are more realistic T prospects at 28.

Watch us pick up some medicore FA Left Tackle and then draft a defensive lineman like Louis NIx or Dee Ford in the 1st because Gettleman thinks they are the BPA. This place would lose its poo.

Still got my fingers crossed for Benjamin though.

If Gettleman thinks they're the BPA then I'm fine with it. Two of our All Pro's were BPA picks in the first two rounds, Luke and Kalil.

Yeah, but both of those were top 15 picks. BPA is great and all, but gets a little less appealing picking at 28, especially when this team has some real and pressing needs. I find it hard to believe that we will pick up a serviceable LT and #1 WR before the draft to justify taking anything but a wideout or tackle in the first.

Moreover, if a defensive lineman or linebacker is the BPA at 28, they'd be much less valuable to us as they'd be rotational players given how staked we are at those positions.

So I guess what I'm saying is BPA is a great philosophy and all, but maybe this year with Gross and Smitty gone we go best player available, but the best player available at certain positions, ie tackle, wide receiver or maaybe defensive back.
