D-Jax Big Possibility of Being Cut

Recommended Posts

Jackson is not coming here end of story

Probably not.  You can only have a certain amount of players making big money.

However, if he was cut I think the possibility would increase as you wouldn't be on the hook for a 10 mill cap hit. You could make a new contract cap friendly the first two years.

I wonder how many people that think it isn't possible/feasable were prepared to keep Smitty for 10 and 12 mill the next two seasons.

Drafting rookies make the most fiscal sense but I have to admit, adding DeSean sounds really exciting. Pair him with Benjamin in the draft and you've really got the potential for a nice receiving corp.

What makes the call completely ridiculous? Think it's coincidence that Cam had his most effecient season under Shula? I don't.

down and distance. The point being you can't say he had nothing to do with incomplete long pass attempts. He calls the plays.

Seahawks showing interest.

A guy on their board made a good, logical post about not wanting him because Wilson is short and struggled when his taller WRs were out. With DJax they would have a midget QB and midget WR corps (NFL relative), and it might not be as great as it sounds having DJax if you can keep Wilson between the tackles.

With Cam, being the GOAT that he is and a freak of nature at over 6'5, different story.

Not his job to throw or catch the ball. Down and distance shouldn't affect the players ability to execute the play. You also can't tell me we only missed deep in the "wrong" situations.

That's why he won't sign with the Panthers, the team doesn't have cap space. He'll go to the next team that can satisfy him financially for year then ask to leave because he's unhappy. At least with the Panthers everyone has said its a good locker room to be a part of.

yes it does affect when the deep ball is covered. My point is made if it happened at all. It doesn't have to be the only way we missed. you are saying Shula is completely free of responsibility in missed long ball attempts.

heel31ok and the untouchables are obviously vying for either moderator positions on The Huddle or trying to win the practically unattainable poster of the year award.

These two are BY FAR my new favorite posters.  They keep me entertained, post after post.  Everything they write is pure gold.

Pure.......yellow.....gold.

I'm not saying he's completely free, but the blame Shula for everything is getting a little old and is very narrow minded.
