Other cornerback position?

If there is any team that knows the reward possible for giving such a guy a chance it is us.

We didn't sign Thomas Davis coming off 3 ACL injuries, he was already on the roster. It was more of giving a guy that has given so much to the team another shot after he was willing to negotiate his contract to help the teams cap as well as his roster spot.

Terrell Thomas has only had two acl injuries. Also, he did okay as a starter last year. He'd do well behind our front seven if guys like Melvin White can look good. And he's probably dirt fuging cheap right now, we can probably get him for what we paid for Cason. All we'd need to do is draft one of those bigger corners on day 2 and we'd be in good shape in the secondary.

Ehhhhhhhh. Wrong. He's had 2 in the past 3 years and he had 1 in college... But I agree with everything else completely and really really hope we can get T2.

Draft Jean-Baptiste or Fuller in the 2nd/3rd round and I'll be stocked. We'd have one of the youngest and best defenses in the league even more than already.

Thats the next step, maybe 2nd behind fixing our offense.

Our front 7 is the best in the League IMO.

..add some legitimate talent in the secondary, Lights Out.

    • You talk about keeping the shtshow alive and well in Pantherland just bring in Prime and Shedeur....
    • Elite QBs are made and need a team to work around them or you end up with a Phillip Rivers situation, at best.  Sometimes the QB is just the missing piece, or the QB finds the other factors that lift their game. You couldn't ask for a better example of both of those situations than looking at the Stafford/Goff trade between LA and Detroit. Send either of those two guys to Carolina or Cleveland and they just flop around on the turf near the 35 yard line, game after game. And as to the Texans and Commanders... those are two well coached and well-built teams. Massive turnarounds in each location, a lot of buy in by players and grabbing solid performers where they could. They got their QBs, but they also put them in the right environment. You claim I'm a 1990s football guy, I claim you're basing your evaluation more on Madden and fantasy football.
