Him and TD train together and are good friend, and Thomas is also a fantastic man off the field. Family and all. I love him and hope he comes here.

I knew it was coming. Isnt he more an exception to the rule?

davis is proof that i can happen. not that it will happen. T. thomas should be cheap where ever he lands. so there would be no harm in atleast giving him a shot.

Y'all see what we are doing don't you?  See if you can find a pattern:

Cason 6' 1"

Dockery 6'1"

White 6'1"

What do they all have in common:

A.  They are not white

B.  They vary in height

C. The are all tall for a CB--6'1" to be exact

D. The are all born on the same day

E. All of the above

Don't peek below!

The answer is "C"

A.  Melvin is indeed White, so eliminate A

B.  There is no way B can be true if C is true, and if that is true, there is no way E is the answer, so eliminate B and E

C. This is correct and smart.

D. They were not born on the same day because they are not the same age. This was the freebie, dumb answer.  If you picked D, a GED in your future could be lofty expectations.

E. See B above.

:phew:

Personally, I think we are good at CB, but I expect one in the middle of the draft.  Cason has a one-year deal.  The irony is, if he plays well, we can't afford him.  If he sucks, we don't want him.

This draft has a group of CBs that will be available in the third or fourth rounds that are pretty impressive and nice fits for us.  It would be smart to get one of them.

gettleman did say he likes them big

i think because he's new, everyone thinks he's talking in code whenever he addresses the media.  sure, he isn't going to layout his entire  rebuild strategy, but when he says he wants big bodies, you have to believe it's not a............

    • You talk about keeping the shtshow alive and well in Pantherland just bring in Prime and Shedeur....
    • Elite QBs are made and need a team to work around them or you end up with a Phillip Rivers situation, at best.  Sometimes the QB is just the missing piece, or the QB finds the other factors that lift their game. You couldn't ask for a better example of both of those situations than looking at the Stafford/Goff trade between LA and Detroit. Send either of those two guys to Carolina or Cleveland and they just flop around on the turf near the 35 yard line, game after game. And as to the Texans and Commanders... those are two well coached and well-built teams. Massive turnarounds in each location, a lot of buy in by players and grabbing solid performers where they could. They got their QBs, but they also put them in the right environment. You claim I'm a 1990s football guy, I claim you're basing your evaluation more on Madden and fantasy football.
