The New York Jets QB Situation

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Marty may make progress with Geno this year, but why put the kind of pressure on Geno that bringing in Vick does?

The New York fans and media will go berserk if Smith falters to start the season.

If you start Vick he'll do the same thing he's done since getting out of jail for murdering dogs, play somewhere between 1 to 13 games before getting beaten like a rag doll on the field puts him on the sidelines.

Bad idea Rex, this circus you didn't need if you're really serious about Geno Smith, which apparently you were at one point about Mark Sanchez.

Here we go with TEEbow number 2.

You sound more like a peta loony. Fug dogs. They're just filthy animals. Human first.

Are you sure about that. Geno was a 1st round projection throughout his senior year. He has the physical tools and he has a great arm. He just need to get better with his decision making. I think he'll surprise a lot of people this year. There are teams in worst qb situation than the jets and ripe for their own thread.

Jamarcus Russell and Ryan Leaf were deemed great prospects out of college too. That and 4 bucks will get you a tank of gas.

He's not terrible, but man does he have some serious holes in his game.

The jets wasn't exactly stacked on offense. He had some good moments. They were on the edge of making the playoffs. They were 8-8. You guys talk about them like they were 2-14. The Texans with way better weapon on both side of the ball couldn't win 8 games. Did I mention they have cap space? You could make the argument they're in a better situation than us.

Texans had a QB go full retard, they're still a very talented team.

Having a lot of cap room doesn't mean much, ask the Raiders, Browns, Bucs, etc

Geno completed 55% of his passes and had 24 turnovers to 18 TD's. That's a problem.

Im sure he's not the only rookie qb in nfl history with bad stats. Im sure if you wanted to you could make some exemptions for him since he was a rookie. Obviously it's not to your interest to do so. So we can leave it as that.

He gets a pass, but that doesn't mean he escapes all accountability. Some of those throws were just horrible decisions. He may turn out to be good, but it won't be enough to put the Jets over the top in that division.

You could be right. But we'll see. His receivers didn't help him much last year. Nobody can be good if their receivers don't help them. There's a reason NE and Denver are stacking them up.

The worst quarterbacks ive ever seen in my life:

(In order)

1) The Golden Calf of Bristol

2) terrell pryor

3) sanchez

4) gino smith
