Maybe just for camp in case Cam isn't ready.  At least he can run the same plays as Cam.

 

I agree. Dont think he makes roster but can fill in throughout OTA and into camp running many plays Cam is typically involved in. Every team takes 3-5 QB's into camp so no big deal.

Why the hell did we sign this joker? 

 

We probably signed him to have 2 QB's to practice with during OTA's since came will be recovering and if he's still on the team after training camp he'll probably run the scout team.  In practice, receivers and players get used to a mobile QB more like Cam instead of our the less elusive Mr. Anderson.
