I LMAO at you.

Like he has no more opportunities to do so..

Please dude.. Go full GrrBeck again.

Oh he can keep signing throw away players, or we could make a move for someone serious that would require a trade. Which are you advocating for? Jerking off Gettleman's unproven moves doesn't make you right.

What I find funny is people thinking our starting tackles and wrs are going to come from the draft and take zero time to develop.

At this oint I think it's clear Gettle is banking on our RBs pulling their weight in $ which is pretty impossible unless we live 2008 again.

Because they have no clue.

Edit: grrbeck

I have no way of knowing if his moves are going to work, but I will not go full GrrBeck and break the bank for someone who could be replaced with someone just as good, if not better, for cheap.

You guys acted like once the initial splurge of free agency was over, no matter how we tried to shake things, we were screwed.

We are in a tight spot where we cannot bust our balls on high priced free agents. We gotta go for the cheap role players that fit into our system. That's what we did last year, and it worked pretty well.

You insist we go bust our balls on like one big name player, and then we have literally no cap to sign any role players. You cannot talk poo about about gettleman until after the draft. He could very well snag a starting LT and a #1 WR in the first 2 rounds.

Smitty was a borderline #2 receiver playing the #1 position. Therefore, you can't truly say that we had a #1 last year, unless you were talking about Greg Olsen and we went 12-4. Well, we still have Olsen and still don't have a #1, so we're pretty much in the same boat minus Gross.

All the other jibber-jabber is a bunch if jive-arsed hate raid from a bunch of cluckers, suckers.

Oh really can you prove they are just as good or better, for cheaper? Because right now our O Line, WR Corps, and DB Corps look like a downgrade on paper. Want to try and prove they're better or just as good?

Obviously you don't understand our cap situation or you would know we could have kept Smith, signed Nicks, and signed Collins to reasonable contracts. Ginn may have been kept if an offer was made to him before letting him test the waters. The same with Mitchell.

All you do is praise Gettlemans signings, and lack of, while downing anyone that doesn't understand his supposed plan. Which by the way almost everyone I've seen in the media, social media, and various organizations are still trying to figure out. It's why we've literally been turned into a meme this off-season.

No Smith was a number one until Mike Shula became our offensive coordinator. He lost a step, but was still very good at every level of the game. He still demanded double teams often. On the other hand Olsen is getting older, slower, and is going to be doubled to death next season if we don't find a real replacement to Smith.

Stop being such ignorant asshats. Olsen is a number one TE, nothing more. Smith should have produced more last year in a better system, or if he wasn't playing hurt at the end of last year.

Grrbeck must be a dook fan that hasn't gotten any poonanny in a while, if ever...either that or that kid in the Smitty-viral video. "I don't want a favwit team!!! I hat da Panfers!!"

That was quick. Everyone giving up so fast.

One man's trash...

Just because someone doesn't get re-signed doesn't necessarily mean that they don't have value.  last year, it's not like GMs were jumping in line to sign Ginn or Mitchell either.  Trades are sexy, but in my opinion this year's market as well as our lack of money doesn't exactly make fruit ripe for the picking.  Who do you prose to trade for (or who did you propose to trade for)?

I would prefer G-man to sit back and stockpile some picks as opposed to making some ill-advised splash of a trade just to placate the emotional desires of the fans and give the pack of wolves that is the media something to rip apart.

I suppose that we could trade hardy for "someone serious" and a pick or two, but that doesn't seem like it's likely to happen. And, of course, there is the reality that we would have to do without Hardy.  I'm good with it either way, but that's a judgment call and decision that's better left to the professionals.

We've done the best that we can, which is get some guys who are solid, sprinkled in with some guys with some upside---mainly high character guys that have shown that they can play.  All of this with very little green. I don't see what's not to like.
