Last year we brought something like 14 receivers to camp. Why wouldn't we do the same thing this year as well? Sometimes you got to turn over a bunch of rocks before you find a handful of diamonds.

That's fine and dandy but a lot of the lower level guys get little to no reps in camp.

Bersin's first year he had two reps with Clausen then practice was over. It's hard to impress with limited time.

It's not always about quantity but moreso quality.

I was thinking crawfish...where are these rocks you are turning over to find these diamonds?

Bersin made the practice squad and is still here so apparently he did enough so I think your example actually proves my point.  Plus we have a history of moving guys from the practice squad to active roster and giving them a shot if injuries hit.
