Kenny Britt visiting Carolina

This is really showing how things are changing with the Panthers' Just a couple of years ago Britt would not even have been invited to visit because of his past. 'I hope that he has got his head on straight, this could test our locker room leadership

We'll see how true that is with lafail. If he ends up with 1000 receiving yards then Brady and that offense are demigods.

Other than Moss, and I guess Welker (even though he was just a target guy in New England - we saw with Edelman that he was easily replaceable, no receivers have been there and set the world on fire. Either it's because Brady spreads it around, they target other positions, etc, but there is very little evidence to suggest that ANY receiver is going to go there put up big numbers.

So let me see if I got this right? We may, or may not, have interest in Britt. He may, or may not, have interest in playing here. He may, or may not be coming, had already been here, or he may not even have plans of coming here. But...If he does, and we do, we still don't want him?

That my friends, is one hellzofa smokescreen.

Oh, by the by. I'd take him under 2 circumstances. 1. He comes on a cheap, 2yr deal, that can be voided at any moment. 2. He pinky swears to be a good boy.

You may or may not be right, but if you are, I'll never admit you are, but if you aren't, I'll make sure to point out this post in the future.

No news on Britt could mean he is put on back burner while we check out options on D-Jax.

Not thrilled about either one frankly.  Can either be counted on by their teammates in crunch time?  Yes, we need warm bodies but if signing either one of these "distractions"  (i.e. freaking WR's) means we jeopardize long term contracts for core players I'm ok with draft and lesser FA's.
