Many still don't understand how flexible and creative teams can be with the cap if they want someone bad enough. I'm not advocating for or against Jackson, but we could absolutely free up the cap space if the team wanted him.

Are people forgetting examples like the recent Flacco contract? He's earning 20+ million a year, yet his first year cap hit was 6 million.

There are always ways to get deals done.

 

yup. but the only problem is juggling cam, keek, hardy and then deshaun's contract. From everything that's happened this season (or not happened) it seemed like Gettleman was trying to do the opposite of what getting djax would do.
