Would A running focus team be a bad thing?

The way i see it is that most of the teams in the NFL are starting to...well.. already have started mainly worrying about the pass threat.   And are structuring their defense as such.  isnt it Tampa that said they are running 3-4 this year?    So lets assume we have D-will and stewart healthy, and they CAN pound the ball,  with two backs doesnt that put us in a position to exploit a flaw in a defense designed soley around the pass.  I mean yeah, on occasion you need to throw, but if we can just find someone to run a decent route and open up things for olsen, I think were golden.   The key is that stewart gets healthy..  playing a team in the 3-4  with two backs like we have is pretty much and automatic 3-4 yard gain every time IMO  I dont think G-Man will ignore OL and WR in the draft so we will def have bodies on the field that can catch.

Balance, smarts (I.e., the ability to adapt to the situation at hand) and exploitation of your opponent's weakness is ideal.  You must have the tools to do it all. But, yes, if a team fails to stop the run, then you keep running right down their throats.

Yes, it will and I believe we will lean heavily on the run game and 2 TE set. We are getting younger at the OL position and Stewart will have a healthy off-season. Stewart is the feature back, Williams for change of pace, & Tolbert for short yardage & goal line.
