Great video and Smitty definitely had a lot of great moments.

 

However, I have NEVER considered any sports figure to be a role model (for myself or for my kids).  I have higher standards than most athletes can deliver (to define a role model).

Steve Smith is a thug & a hypocrite.

He beat the poo out of teammates.

He rabbles about being a Christian but curses like a drunken sailor.

Even if he was 12 then he should realize that isn't a role model or hero.

Steve is still my favorite player ever. I idolized him when I was a child. Not so much anymore.
