2014 NBA PLAYOFF MATCHUPS (Round 2)

Recommended Posts

Very well may happen, some reports came out that Miami may not have wanted to play Atlanta in the first round.

I don't think they will rest them against Washington though because Indiana can't clinch until their last game and Washington and Miami play tom while Indiana and Orlando play Wed.

Miami is pretty much locked in as the 2nd, don't see any reason to play them either game more then 20-25 minutes.

Hopefully that's enough to get a win over Washingon though.

In all honestly we don't deserve the 6 seed if we can't beat boston with or without Kemba. Rondo didn't play either.

I'm not going to throw in the towel yet, but it seems as if our season ended when Clifford chose to sit Kemba vs. Boston.

I'm not saying that Kemba wasn't hurt, but if it was a playoff game (which it should have been played like), Kemba would have played.

Boston has a solid group of guys, they've beaten us, Miami (x2), Brooklyn, Toronto, Washington, Atlanta (x2), and Charlotte (x2). They can play ball regardless of their record. Injuries played a key part in their lackluster season.

Also basketball is a sport, anything can happen; that's why we watch sports.

    • he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else  And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.   should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
    • We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives. Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.
    • He is a diva, even with Baltimore winning, he will cry and pout and ask to be traded. He cares about his numbers and stats for his next contract. Ironically, his best chance to showcase his ability was with us, now he is just an afterthought.
