The Knicks are only half a game behind the Hawks.

According to NBA.com, the New York Knicks have jumped the Hawks for 8th place.

Charlotte (37-38) next 3 games will determine if we are the 7th or 6th seed:

ORL - W - 38-38

@CLE - W - 39-38

@WAS - W - 40-38

 

Washington (39-36) next 3 games

@NYK - L - 39-37

CHI -  W - 40-37

CHA - L - 40-38

 

The Knicks are playing well right now and trying to lock into that 8th spot. If they can beat the Wiz or Chicago- it sets up the biggest game of our season.

We would own the tiebreaker against them and would have the rest of our schedule: @BOS, PHI,@ATL, CHI

Wiz would have to play @ORL, MIL, MIA, @BOS

Realistically, I see us having to go 5-1 down the stretch in order to get the sixth seed.

Both teams finish 43-39, but Cats get the sixth seed on the tiebreaker.

So if we take care of everything, Washington needs to lose one other game. If we play well 6-0 is very doable, but I don't know that this team has that big of a win streak in it.
