Cam is gonna need it, especially this year. I'm sick and tired of Cam being our entire offense. He needs help and god dammit this finally might be the season he gets it. Can you imagine our offense if we drafted Seferian-Jenkins and Cooks in the first two rounds? The entire complexion of our offense would change overnight.

My guess is that Gettleman goes OL first two rounds and then grabs a guy like Latimer in the third (if still there).

Re watched some games from this past season today. And seriously our WR's can't possibly do any worse. Not once was it because the WR made a great catch did Cam complete a pass.

I also realized how important it is to keep Hardy. Like in the Atlanta game week 17, our front 7 an Cam's legs won us that game. Our WR's did eff all.

But we do need playmakers. That was very evident in the playoff game. So maybe kick the tires on a guy like Jacoby Ford, draft Latimer, beef up OL (even tho I want WR's) and sign Cason and Thomas and all of sudden we aren't in that bad of shape.

OT: now that I keep seeing Mr. Preseason (Norman's) name popping up, I wonder if he would be worth a shot at FS. He was knocked for being too freelance at corner. I wonder if he could be more effective deep using his instincts (he seemed to have a good nose for hawking the ball). Just a thought. If it's mental lapses they might show up back there too, so i'm not sure.

Honestly, I don't know what to expect. There are so many tempting options in the first two rounds. I wouldn't be mad if we went DB in the first and WR in the second. Guys like Su'a-Filo, Bitonio and Hurst will still available in the third round. Then there's a project like Henderson who be around in the later rounds. Whichever way we slice it, our OL is going to be upgraded one way or another.

The same thing goes for WR. Moncrief, Coleman, Enunwa, Herron, Washington, Hoffman, etc will be in range. Then there's Lyerla (who we know could be the next Jimmy Graham). If we're willing to look into Britt, then troubled prospects might be in play nowadays too.

I'm all for Lyerla but I'm sure you know that already. I took him in the 4th round in the mock draft in the draft forum.

But yeah with the draft being so deep at OL and WR I'd be cool with grabbing Fuller at 28 if there.

Then maybe go BPA between OL and WR for the next few rounds after that.

But yeah I really have no idea what to expect.

I like Legree too. I just worry about his physicality against NFL WRs.

He plays off 95% of the time and his frame still has room to grow. Hampton will always be compact and stiff like Captain in that regard. I think legree is one of those guys a coach can make while hampton is one of those guys that is what he is but can maybe improve some.
